Until It’s Over by Dorothy van Soest

Until It’s Over by Dorothy van Soest

Until It’s Over is Dorothy van Soest’s latest installment in the Sylvia Jenson series. From the first pages of Sylvia and J. B. Harrell’s familiar bickering, to the exquisitely elegant, pitch perfect conclusion, this is the work of an author at the top of her craft! Wisely plan your time as to when you will begin reading it, because you will not want to put it down.

Spring is, well Springing

Spring is, well Springing

I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

I just came across a reference to this poem in Bruno Bettelheim’s book, The Uses of Enchantment. Maybe more on that book in another post. But the poem just felt so right for the moment we are in. The world around us in tumult. Cataclysm looming around every corner. And yet . . . And yet, it IS spring.
